This community cookbook is a collection of recipes from the residents of Mountford Estate in Hackney which reflects the diverse culinary cultures of the neighbourhood. It explores the possibilities of food, from cultural identity, to strengthening community cohesion and encouraging civic participation. Every herb, plant and vegetable was mapped so that this book also works as a resource for all the residents. The book was edited by Rose Gibs, printed by Hato Press and Supported by Hackney Council.
